Hugo is an absolute sweetheart with a cheeky little spark. He is a nephew to Rosco, and it’s honestly like they both know it – they roughhouse and play together, and Hugo is always the one who won’t run and tell. Loyal to the core, even when mischief is involved.
He is very finely proportioned and is expected to stay on the smaller side. Hugo is happy to go with the flow, but he’s also confident enough to politely let you know when something doesn’t quite meet his standards. So far, he has been easy to handle and a genuine pleasure to do anything with.
Hugo will truly shine in a pet home rather than a guardian role, as he adores human interaction. He lives for visits, attention, and being part of whatever you’re doing – even if that’s just standing around. He’s the kind of donkey who will quietly follow you, make you laugh without trying, and become your shadow before you realise what’s happened.
These foals have been handled since birth and prior to leaving for their new homes they will be taught all the foundation skills, like catching, tying up, feet picking up and being trimmed, will also have been given vaccinations.
