A true Australian Teamster donkey. “Gil,” as he is affectionately known, is like that polite kid at school who patiently sits with his hand raised, waiting his turn.
More recently, he has begun to gently assert himself with the jennies coming into oestrus, which is exactly what we like to see — a lovely indication of his developing herd awareness and strong natural instincts.
Gil is a very unique colour, and it continues to change as he grows. We jokingly refer to him as our “hypercolour shirt” because no two weeks ever look quite the same.
He will suit any discipline and, by the look of him so far, will certainly bring height to the table. A striking, thoughtful young donkey with a big future ahead of him.
